About
I’m an infrastructure architect and Linux systems administrator with over 20 years of experience designing, building, and operating IT infrastructure — most of it on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, most of it automated.
I focus on high-availability architecture, monitoring, identity management, and turning manual operations into Ansible playbooks. Compliance and risk reduction come from standardization, not heroics.
I’ve led technical teams and driven infrastructure strategy across aviation, finance, media, and gaming — industries where “it usually works” isn’t good enough.
Career overview
Over two decades I’ve moved from hands-on user support to architecting infrastructure at enterprise scale — always on Linux, increasingly on Red Hat, increasingly automated.
- Standardized and automated operations across tens of thousands of Linux servers for a global financial services group.
- Architected and maintained critical RHEL tooling — identity management, provisioning, automation platforms — for a pan-European air traffic control organization, on-premises and in Azure.
- Spent a year inside Red Hat itself, providing enhanced support and supportability assessments for enterprise RHEL customers and partners.
- Led IT strategy and infrastructure across three countries for an industrial group, migrating on-premises systems to Google Cloud and standing up an internal software development function.
- Ran IT operations for a national gaming operator, integrating game providers and owning end-to-end platform reliability.
- Started out keeping national newspaper websites online under heavy daily traffic, automating what used to be manual.
